About Us
Serving our Members for more than Four Decades
The Northeast Service Cooperative is a nonprofit public corporation established by the legislature in 1976. We are governed by a voting Board of Directors, the majority of which must be current members of school boards elected, at large, from the Northeast Service Cooperative service area. The remaining Board members may be representatives appointed by counties or other governmental agencies from the seven-county region we serve in northeastern Minnesota. We are one of nine Minnesota Service Cooperatives across the state.
We are currently serving Koochiching, Itasca, Aitkin, Carlton, St. Louis, Lake and Cook Counties. Our Fiber Optics also serve Pine, Kanabec and Isanti Counties and is still growing.
